Warranty Policy

For customers in the United States, this is a “limited warranty” as defined under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

2-Year Warranty for SOLDR Products

At SOLDR, we strive to provide the highest-quality products. Our warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal use for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase (EU statutory rights count from delivery). This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

What’s Covered

  • Manufacturing Defects: If your SOLDR develops a defect during normal use within the 2-year warranty period (including the soldering pen, multimeter, and the fan with built-in battery), we will repair or replace the affected item. Contact us with pictures/video and a brief description and we will assist you.
  • Included Electronics: The warranty applies to all electronic components supplied with your SOLDR kit (soldering pen, multimeter, fan module, control electronics). The fan battery’s capacity is guaranteed for at least 12 months.

What’s Not Covered

  • Plastic Modules: Cosmetic imperfections, minor warping, or damage to plastic modules and accessories (such as holders, compartments, or organizers) are not covered under warranty unless the item arrives defective or broken on delivery (DOA within 30 days).
  • Consumables: Normal-wear items such as soldering tips, filters, solder, flux, and cleaning materials.
  • Shipping Damage: We package SOLDR securely, but damage can occur in transit. Please inspect upon delivery and contact us immediately if anything is damaged; we’ll help coordinate a resolution with the courier and arrange a suitable remedy.
  • Accidental Damage or Misuse: Damage caused by drops, mishandling, improper use, exposure to liquids, or operation outside the instructions. SOLDR supports customer-performed minor repairs via our official guides; unauthorized modifications or third-party repairs are excluded.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, discoloration, and age-related degradation.
  • Lost/Theft or Incorrect Delivery: We are not responsible for theft or incorrect delivery. Consider using a pickup point. If the courier confirms a lost parcel due to their mistake, once confirmed we will arrange a replacement.
  • Unauthorized Modifications: Damage resulting from modification or repair by anyone other than the customer following SOLDR’s official guides, or by a third party, is not covered.

How to File a Warranty Claim

Contact Us

If you believe your SOLDR has a manufacturing defect or was damaged during shipping, please email support@soldr.pro with a brief description of the issue.

Provide Evidence

To help us process your claim efficiently, please provide:

  • Photos or videos of the issue (e.g., damaged areas or defective parts)
  • Order number or proof of purchase

Assessment

Once we receive your claim, we will assess the issue and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include:

  • Repairing or replacing the defective product
  • Issuing a refund where repair or replacement is not reasonable

You will be notified promptly of the decision and the next steps.

Shipping and Return Process

  • Return Shipping Costs: If your claim is approved under warranty, we cover return shipping. For returns not due to manufacturing defects, you may be responsible for return shipping.
  • Warranty Replacement: If your SOLDR is found to be defective under our terms, we will repair or replace depending on the nature of the issue.

Your Rights Under Warranty

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights depending on your jurisdiction. We aim to offer the best possible resolution within applicable legal frameworks.

Note for EU customers: This commercial warranty does not replace or limit your statutory rights under the EU legal guarantee of conformity, which applies for 2 years from delivery.
